ABOUT BRYAN

Hey Guys! Bryan here...
Growing up in the Washington DC area smack-dab in the 80s, had me glued to the 19 inch TV on Saturday mornings, as well as before and after school, anticipating our favorite Animated shows, like;
Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry, Transformers, GI Joe, Care Bears, Gummy Bears, or even the Berenstein Bears! It didn't matter. Those, and many more programs captivated our generation's imagination! And that's exactly when I knew I wanted to see my drawings come to life.
I started drawing at the age of 4, and have never looked back since. Throughout Middle and High School, without more than ONE actual art class... I still knew that I wanted to make Saturday morning cartoons! That drive carried me to study Animation at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Even though I was behind the ball, compared to most of the other Art students and their previous training, I wouldn't let that turn me away. In fact it made me work even harder. A lot of my learning came AFTER college, as I was trying to figure out exactly how I could break into the Animation Industry. While learning the Art of Caricatures at the nearby Amusement Park, I would start forging a path that was uncharted for me. I started tabling at comic book conventions, with 3 of my best friends, as we explored ourselves as Artists, trying to figure out how to grow. This exposure landed me opportunities in the Comic Book Industry. I was blessed to work with studios such as LEGO, IDW, and Boom! Studios, on properties, such as; Batman, Spider-Man, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Samurai Jack! Even still, I knew I wanted to get back into Animation. As I continued to grow in the Comic Industry, I began getting noticed by Animation recruiters, while doing shows on the West Coast. This would eventually pay off, as I landed my first job in the Industry as a Storyboard Revisionist, then eventual Artist, on Ultimate Spider-Man! Since then, I've been blessed to work with studios like, Disney TVA, DreamWorks TVA, Nickelodeon, Netflix, ReelFX, Sprite Animation, and my longest tenor over at Warner Bros Animation.
As I continue in my career, I look forward to taking on NEW challenges like, Design, Visual Development, Directing, Art Direction, and even New Series or Feature Creation.
At the end of the day, I thank God for all of my fantastic opportunities to play with and create fun and exciting characters and stories that my kids (and hopefully yours too) can be proud of, while the sit in front of our, now, 70 inch TVs, anticipating THEIR favorite Animated shows and films.
